Fall River man wanted by Tiverton Police arrested
A traffic stop in Middletown, Rhode Island led to the capture of a Fall River man on Monday who was wanted by the Tiverton police.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. Monday night, a Middletown officer observed a white van swerving quickly and then re-correcting at 1 Access Road at 939 West Main Road. The vehicle’s lights were also not activated in steady rain. A check of the vehicle came back with the name of Roy Louis Farias, 50, of Fall River as it’s registered owner along with a bench warrant from Superior Court out of Tiverton for his arrest. The officer then pulled over Farias. Farias was arrested without incident and turned over to Tiverton Police.
Farias is being charged with felony Larceny over $1,500 in connection with an incident that occurred in August 2017.
