Kickboxer bringing gold back to Fall River after World Championship win in Chile for Team USA

A local teen continues to make the Fall River area, and his country, proud.

19-year-old Diman graduate Aidan Lambert, who is an accomplished kickboxer training for over 10 years at Gillett’s Mixed Martial Arts in Tiverton, is on his way home to Fall River after capturing the gold medal for Team USA in the K-1 .63kg kickboxing division at the World Championship in Chile.

Lambert had qualified for the event after taking home the gold medal earlier this year in the Adult K-1 Advanced Division at the 2026 WAKO Kickboxing National Championship in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Success is nothing new for Lambert. In both 2024 and 2025 he also claimed gold at the USA National Championships, earning a spot on Team USA at the WAKO World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on two previous occasions.

As if those accolades weren’t enough, Lambert was recognized last year by U.S. Rep. for Massachusetts, Jake Auchincloss, and State Senator Michael Rodrigues.

Beyond the medals, Lambert is also known for his hard work and dedication.

Congratulations Aidan!
