Starbucks, restaurant, other businesses headed to Somerset
In addition to a 111 room hotel, a Starbucks, restaurant, and more are headed to Somerset across from Home Depot at 500 G.A.R. Highway.
According to South Coast Today, during the December 18th Somerset Board of Water and Sewer meeting, Brandon Carr, who was representing hotel developer Marc Landry, stated that the Starbucks will be in the building closest to Home Depot and will reheat food while offering their famous coffee choices, rolls, muffins, fritters, doughnuts, scones, muffins, croissants, Danish, cookies, brownies, bagels, breads, coffee cake, cheese, fruit, pies, tarts, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, paninis, sandwiches, ice cream, and parfaits.
Landry stated that there could be three or four businesses in the building in addition to the Starbucks.
Including the Starbucks and Fairfield Marriott, there will be a yet-to-be-determined full service restaurant on the property.
Approximately 30 full-time, 75 part-time, and 125 construction jobs are expected to be generated concerning the project.
