UPDATE Silver City Galleria to remain open
UPDATE: WJAR is correcting their story and now states today is the closing date on the bank note. The mall is not closing.

According to WJAR 10, the mall is closing Monday morning.
The new owner states that they will be renovating and redeveloping the property.
The mall was bought for $7.5 million at the end of May.
The Swansea Mall recently closed earlier this year.

When WJAR10 states they spoke to the owner and he says they are closing, we are inclined to believe them. We have updated the story. Sorry for any confusion.
