Motorcycle rider seriously injured after multi-vehicle collision on Route 6

Authorities are investigating after a multi-vehicle crash with injuries.

According to Cody Shepard on behalf of Swansea Police, on Friday, just after 8:15 a.m., Swansea Police responded to a report of a motorcycle crash in the area of 814 Grand Army of the Republic Highway (Route 6).

Officers located a crash involving a motorcycle and a small dump truck.

Bristol County District Attorney releases identity of motorcycle rider killed in Route 6 crash

The motorcyclist, who suffered serious injuries, was transported by Swansea Ambulance Corps to an area hospital.

Swansea Police and Massachusetts State Police with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash.

A request for an update by the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office has not yet been returned.
