Massachusetts father of two young sons killed in fatal motorcycle crash
No charges are being filed in a fatal crash this week involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Massachusetts.
According to Lt. Steven Dearth, on Monday, at just after 4:45 p.m. Officers responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Beal Street near the intersection of North Street and West Street in Hingham.
32-year-old Alfredo Aureliz Galarza of Weymouth was transported to South Shore Hospital but did not survive. The driver and passenger in the SUV were not injured.
Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle had been traveling north on Beal Street and drove off the right side of the road into a utility pole near 335 North Street. The motorcycle then reentered the road, crossed over the center line, and struck the driver’s side of the southbound SUV on Beal Street.
No charges are being filed against the driver of the SUV.
According to a GoFundMe fundraiser, Galarza leaves behind a partner of 15 years and two young children.
The crash is being investigated by Hingham Police, State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and State Troopers from the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section
