La Salette will continue their Festival of Lights tradition this year with a few precautions for public safety.

The National Shrine of La Salette Festival of Lights will begin on November 25, 2021 and will run until January 2, 2022.

The Annual Festival of Lights is a beautiful religious light display with more than 400,000 lights covering over 10 acres of land. The lights are generally lit from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Seeing the display is free of charge, but donations are appreciated.

Shrine Director Father Flavio Gillio issued the following statement.

“In the past two years, we have lived through unprecedented times. We’ve witnessed natural disasters, civil and political divisions, and mourned those whom we lost during the pandemic. Despite all of these challenges, however, our 2021 Christmas Festival reminds us that God still springs forth hope in the form of His Son, Jesus Christ. Come, celebrate with us, and allow your hearts to be touched by His LOVE which springs forth joy, unity, and hope. We look forward to seeing you here!”

La Salette Shrine has issued the following rules when attending the light festival.

-While on the property, all guests are required to wear a facial mask covering both their nose and mouth while indoors.
-While indoors, please be mindful of social distancing.
-All buildings open to the public will close promptly at 9:00pm. If you are planning on visiting the Religious Article Store, please plan accordingly.
