With closing arguments beginning Monday, here is each day’s testimony in Correia trial and what he is facing

With closing statements coming Monday in the case of former Fall River mayor Jasiel Correia II, here is a recap of what transpired in court so far to get you up to speed.

Monday April 26th: Prosecution: This case is about lying, cheating, stealing & shakedowns

Correia is facing 24 federal counts of alleged fraud connected to the SnoOwl app in addition to allegedly taking bribes from marijuana vendors.

If convicted, Correia’s possible sentence varies wildly considering how many individual charges he is facing and the wide range of sentencing guidelines. If convicted on all charges. It is possible he could spend the rest of his life in prison.

The trial could be in the jury’s hands as early as Monday with a mountain of evidence to sift through.
