VIDEO: Massachusetts State Police, Dartmouth Fire and EMS respond to highway crash with life-threatening injuries

Authorities have issued an update on a serious highway crash that took place in Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon.

According to Massachusetts State Police, shortly after 1:30 p.m., State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 195 west at Exit 19 (Reed Road) in Dartmouth.  

First responders rendered aid to the two victims and facilitated medical transport by Dartmouth Fire and EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. The two individuals sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. 

Officials closed the westbound center and right travel lanes for EMS and State Police investigators to access the scene.
