Trump to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States
President Donald Trump stated late Monday night that he will sign an executive order that will temporarily suspend immigration into the United States due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
Trump stated in a tweet just after 10:00 p.m. that, “In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!”
Trump gave no other details on the immigration suspension.
