Several transported to area hospitals after two separate car crashes with injuries in Lakeville
A local fire department responded to two recent serious crashes resulting in injuries.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, on Saturday at approximately 3:00 p.m. they responded to two passenger vehicles colliding on Main Street.
Responding units included Car 2, Ambulance 2, Ambulance 3, and Engine 1.
Ambulance 2 transported an adult male to Boston Medical Center – South (Good Samaritan) with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Ambulance 3 transported an adult female experiencing a medical emergency to Mortin Hospital.
On Monday just after 12:30 a.m., LFD responded to a Precinct Street single vehicle crash (Car vs. Tree)
Responding units included Car 2, Ambulance 3, Engine 1, and Squad 3.
Ambulance 3 transported an adult male to Morten Hospital with minor injuries.
At the time of this crash, units were already committed to another medical emergency and became aware of the accident.
A recall was transmitted to bring in off-duty and on-call personnel to cover the accident and provide continued coverage.
The Leadership of the Lakeville Fire Department extended a heartfelt thanks to their dedicated members.
