A person was shot and critically injured in front of a motorcycle clubhouse on Saturday.

According to Pawtucket Police, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Pawtucket police responded to the Pagan MC Clubhouse located on Lafayette Street for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that one member had been shot while standing outside the front of the clubhouse with other members. The incident appears to have been a drive by shooting.

The 49-year-old victim sustained an injury to his face. He was subsequently transported to an area hospital and remains in critical condition.

Surrounding agencies from Providence, Cranston as well as the Rhode Island State Police arrived and offered mutual aid as investigators worked the scene.

Two MC members were brought to police headquarters. One is being charged with weapons violations and the other was released without charges at this time.

Detectives are furthering the investigation and are trying to identify the suspect vehicle that fled the scene. None of the MC members are cooperating with investigators.
