Liberty Utilities, Century Paving announces road construction, street milling, and street paving to take place this week

A bulletin has been issued to give residents and drivers a heads-up concerning construction, street milling, and road paving that is expected to take place in the city.

According to Liberty Utilities, the following Fall River streets are expected to have road construction by Liberty/Ferreira Construction for the week of July 18th. Delays and road closures are possible at these locations.

Massasoit Street
Dickinson Street
Summerfield Street
Stockton Street
Rich Street
Hyacinth Street
Oak Grove Avenue
Fourth Street at Sullivan Drive intersection
Plymouth Ave at Rodman Street intersection **Night work**
Hood Street (Off North Main Street)

July 18 & 19 Century Paving will be milling the following streets in this order.

McCloskey Street = from County Street to DEAD END
Chester Street = from Lafayette Street to Melrose Street
Melrose Street = from Chester Street to Norwood Street
Ledge Street = from DEAD END to Norwood Street
Norwood Street = from County Street to DEAD END
Marsh Street = from County Street to Elizabeth Street
Elizabeth Street = from DEAD END to Harriet Street
Harriet Street = from Elizabeth Street to END of GAS MAIN
Buckley Street = from Elizabeth Street to County Street
Concord Street = from County Street to Stone Street
Stone Street = from Lafayette Street to Melrose Street
Chester Street = Lafayette Street to Reney Street

The following streets will be done this week if time permits.

Lafayette Street= from DEAD END to County Street
Reney Street = from DEAD END to County Street
Barnes Street = from DEAD END to County Street

All paving will begin on July 19 and end on July 22. All streets that are milled will be paved by Friday July 22.
