A local man has had a priceless item stolen from him and he is hoping the thief will return it back to him.

Joe Marfeo of Johnston had his car broken into in Providence Saturday and he took to social media today in hopes of getting one of the items returned to him that contained his daughter’s ashes.

“Last night my car was broken into like an idiot I left my keys in the car . There was a bunch of stuff stolen including my keys. I don’t care about what was stolen. I don’t care about the keys, but my daughters ashes were on my key ring. That’s all I want back. If you have any type of heart and you see this, please just get me my daughters ashes back. Leave it somewhere. My car is a 2013 Buick LaCrosse black and it happened in a parking lot at 91 Friendship Street in Providence . Please all I want back is my daughters ashes . If found please drop off to any police station or to Trinity Church 72 Clifford Street Providence. I’ll be calling to ask about lost and found.”
