According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Heidi Johnson of Methuen is the winner of a $327,091 prize on a $2 bet while playing “The Lamp,” an online-only eInstant game available through Mass Lottery Online.
Johnson claimed her $327,091 prize (before taxes) at the Mass Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester. “It’s very exciting,” Johnson said when asked how it feels to win this prize. She plans on putting the winnings towards her daughter’s wedding.
Prizes won purchased online of $50,000 or more must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester.
To play Mass Lottery games online, players must be 21 or older and physically located in Massachusetts at the time of play and to make a deposit to their account.
