Massachusetts State Police investigating multi-vehicle crash that killed father of two

A Massachusetts father has been killed in a multi-vehicle crash.

According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, at 5:10 a.m. Friday Massachusetts State Troopers assigned to the Norwell Barracks responded to a three-vehicle crash on Route 3 southbound in Weymouth, near Exit 38B, that resulted in the fatality of one of the operators.

The vehicles involved in the crash were a 2014 Mazda CX5 sport utility vehicle, a 2016 Smart Fortwo car, and a 2011 Chevrolet Trailblazer sport utility vehicle.

The operator of the Mazda, a 40-year-old man, was transported to South Shore Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Family members have announced that the victim was Adam Fallon of Whitman.

According to a GoFundMe fundraiser, Fallon leaves behind a girlfriend and their two sons.

The facts and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by the State Police-Norwell Barracks, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section.
