Previous owner of Family Foods Grocery Outlet opens factory full of snacks in Fall River

Are you ready for some snacks?

Mike St. Pierre hopes you are.

St. Pierre, the former owner of Family Foods Grocery Outlet that announced it’s closure at the end of August, has begun a new venture based on the premise of his former business.

The Snack Factory is located at 847 Pleasant Street in Fall River and sells a long list of snacks at discount prices. St. Pierre is able to sell the product at such a low price due to closeouts and sell buy dates. According to St. Pierre, the prices are even cheaper at this location due to the rent costing less so he can pass on the savings to the consumer.

The location is full of candy, cookies, chips, protein bars, Slim Jim’s, jerky and more.

In addition to the snacks, St. Pierre also has a long line of restaurant supplies for sale such as plastic bags, takeout containers, trays, boxes, bowls, napkins, straws, cups, and utensils.

The Snack Factory’s first day open for business was today (Saturday) and is open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
