If you live in Southeastern Massachusetts, it is a bit of a trip, but this mecca of Christmas lights may just be the biggest display in New England.
“Bright Nights at Forest Park” is the Northeast’s premier holiday lighting experience with more than 650,000 lights along a three-mile drive through.
The display, labeled as three miles of smiles, is a drive where your eyes come in contact with display after display.
Displays include Seuss Land, Winter Woods, Happy Holidays Springfield, Everett Barney Mansion and more!
One of the great things about the drive, is no matter how cold it is outside, you get to stay warm and toasty in your vehicle.
You can even tune into WELF 101.5 for a musical accompaniment to the displays.
Since 1995, Bright Nights has been a unique public/private collaboration between the City of Springfield’s Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management and the Spirit of Springfield, a private non-profit organization.
They also have special nights such as Supper with Santa, Craft Night, and Holiday Car Lighting Contest.
Bright Nights at Forest Park is located at 300 Sumner Avenue in Springfield.
