Fall River’s Bear is smart, loves people, and is looking for his forever home

Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week is Bear!

Bear is a ten-month-old lab/shepherd mix that weighs about 55lbs. He’s pretty much full grown at this point so he shouldn’t get too much bigger; he might just fill out a little more.

This boy LOVES people. He loves being around them, he loves playing with them, he loves getting attention from them, he just loves them in general. He also adores other dogs, but any potential canine housemates should be able to either match his puppy energy or tolerate it because he’s an exuberant, enthusiastic guy!

He’s got some typical puppy mouthiness which just translates into the fact that he was never taught that hands aren’t toys when he was itty bitty. He also likes to jump on people so if you’re into that, make sure he won’t be able to knock you over and, if you’re not into that, make sure you have the time and patience to train him out of it! He’s eager to learn and eager to please and very, very smart so it shouldn’t be too difficult!
