Fall River, Mass. (November 8, 2022) – The Fall River Pride Committee (FRPC) is for the second time hosting a walk for Transgender Day of Remembrance, starting at noon at Heritage State Park; 5 Water Street in Fall River, Massachusetts on November 20th.

After a speaking program honoring transgender and nonbinary victims of violence, a route is planned to go along the boardwalk to Bicentennial Park. The committee is asking for a minimum donation of $10. All donations can be made out to the committee’s fiscal sponsor, The Balanced Learning Center.

“Please help us come remember the lives that were lost to us too soon, don’t let their sacrifices be in vain.”, says Ren Perry, an executive member of the FRPC. “Come support our community and give love.”

The FRPC is also holding their monthly free drag story time at the Fall River Public Library on Saturday, December 10th at 10:30 a.m. with special guest The Gothfather.

December’s reading list includes:

• Santa’s Husband by Daniel Kibblesmith
• The Night Before Hanukkah by Natasha Wing
• Why Johnny Doesn’t Flap: NT is OK! by Clay Morton and Gail Morton

Reading will be followed by craft time with the king.
