Fall River Police identify, capture, man who allegedly stole from elderly patient’s hospital room

Fall River Police have located a man they say stole from an elderly patient’s room.

According to Fall River Police, yesterday, detectives were able to identify 27-year-old Scott Souza as the suspect who stole credit cards from an elderly patient’s room at St. Anne’s Hospital.

Detectives and officers were able to place Souza under arrest at his residence while recovering property linking him to the crime.

Souza reportedly pretended to be a family member when questioned by hospital staff.
