Job Description
Processes daily inclearing “on-us” checks ensuring returns are completed within the assigned timeframe and return codes are accurate. Balances totals daily to the cash letter, processing adjustments through the core for any errors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process inclearing “on-us” checks through the return check system and posting to the proper general ledgers.
• Ensures that returns are completed within the strict timeframe and return codes are accurate.
• Balance totals daily to the applicable cash letter, processing adjustments through the core for any errors.
• Daily encoding adjustments through our core provider.
• Online closeouts, ensuring online access is no longer accessible, including bill pay.
• Daily high dollar information and submission of weekly report.
• Review of weekly loan delinquency report, removing overdraft protection from any account within the report.

SUPERVISION OF OTHERS:
• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

ECONOMIC IMPACT:
• Inclearing is a critical component for all of the bank’s daily deposit “on-us” checks. Accurate processing of account, amount, check number, and other details impacts revenue, expense, and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve with little or no supervision.
• Attend various training courses and webinars.

EFFORT:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for long periods of time.
• They are occasionally required to stand, walk, kneel, reach, talk, and hear. Vision abilities include close vision and ability to focus. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend as necessary.
• The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions, provided such accommodations do not create an undue hardship for the Company.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Computer research and input for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must follow written and verbal directions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Back office cubicle setting, shared floor with other departments.
• The noise level in the work environment can be distracting.
• May be required to research old documents in a basement setting.

EXPERIENCE:
• Banking: 1 year (Preferred)

EDUCATION:
• High school or equivalent (Required)
