Fall River continues three day roller coaster ride in COVID-19 case counts
Fall River saw an increase in cases of COVID-19 Sunday.
The City saw 6 cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,643.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River stays at 109 as the city does not receive fatality reports on the weekend.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.
Monday’s report confirmed 3 more cases. Tuesday saw 3 reported cases. Wednesday saw no new cases. Thursday added 4 more cases. Fall River saw 10 additional cases on Friday. Saturday, Fall River’s report had no new cases of COVID-19.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.

When one out of fifteen people at Bicentennial Park are wearing masks, as the rest of the ignorant, non mask wearing people walk by within feet of each other on the boardwalk…………numbers are going to go up. Especially if this ignorance is happening at all parks.
