Bristol County man sentenced to two life sentences in murder of two friends

A Bristol County man has been sentenced to prison for the murder of two friends and the injury of another.

According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, Daniel Randall of North Attleboro was convicted Wednesday of two counts of 1st degree murder, one count of armed assault with intent to murder & one count of mayhem and was sentenced to consecutive life prison sentences with no possibility of parole.

North Attleboro Police were dispatched to 25 Birch Road on August 29th of 2019 for a reported stabbing involving three victims.

One victim, Aidan Hanrahan, 21, of North Attleboro, was located by first responders inside the home and was determined to be deceased upon their arrival.

Another victim, Joshua Lemken, 21, of North Attleboro, was also located inside the home and was treated on scene by Paramedics before being transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Despite the efforts of hospital staff, Lemken died as a result of the stabbing injuries he sustained.

A third victim, Erik Lundstedt, 21, of North Attleboro, was located by first responders outside the home suffering from apparent stab wounds. This victim was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was later transferred to Rhode Island Hospital and later released after sustaining serious injuries.

Randall reportedly called 911 and admitted he killed someone and that he needed medical attention because his finger was almost cut off. Randall stated that he was defending himself in a fight over a bag of marijuana. Prosecutors stated at the time that Randall was the only one of the 4 with a weapon.
