As Fall River faces a possible heat wave, a city restaurant is paying it forward to help battle the heat.

Christopher’s at 1815 South Main Street posted on social media Tuesday that due to the heat and receiving free product, they will be giving out free water with no questions asked.

“So, we all know by now that’s it’s going to be a scorcher the next 2 days. Feel like temps reaching 100+ and humidity that is as always, BRUTAL. Having said that if anyone (ANYONE) needs a few minutes of cool down and a water, I totally invite you to stop in and grab a boxed water on me. No need to purchase anything, no catch, just some relief. This company gifted me a few cases and if it can go to give someone a little hydration, I’m all about it. Also, if you are an agency that is assisting elderly, children or anyone else in need I’m happy to share a case you with you. Boxed Water Is Better”

After the eatery issued the news, residents and customers applauded Christopher’s for the kind gesture.

Christopher’s is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

They are known for a rotating menu of Breakfast Items, Fresh Baked Goods, Breads, Croissants, Bagels, Pretzels, Salads, To Go Meals, Gourmet Sandwiches, Iced/Hot Coffee, House Made Soups, Charcuterie Boards, Cakes, Pies, Pastries, and a variety of Cookies and Desserts From Around The World.

Wow, what an amazing act of human kindness! Beatrification should be started immediately.
