Fall River Police are looking for suspects involved in a city stabbing.

According to Detective John Robinson, on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m., the Fall River Police Department responded to St. Anne’s Hospital regarding a male and female being treated for stab wounds.

The male, a 20-year-old city resident, was treated for a non-life-threatening wound to the lower right back and the female, a 17-year-old city resident, was treated for a minor laceration to the forearm.

The male victim stated to police that he was dropped off at his home by two friends and was then approached by two men who had robbed him the day before. The victim stated he left the area on foot with the two males in an attempt to retrieve the property stolen. The female victim was contacted by her friends and told that the male victim went for a walk with the men that had previously robbed him. The female then encountered the group and told the male victim to leave with her. A fight then ensued in the area of Second and Morgan Street at which time the male and female sustained stab wounds.

The two suspects were described as thin black males in their teens and 5′ 9” tall.

The investigation is still open as both victims became evasive with their responses to FRPD according to Robinson.
