Two men were reportedly stabbed in Fall River Sunday where both calls were less than an hour apart.

According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 5:32 p.m., Officer Connor Levesque along with other officers responded to the area of the Flat Iron building, 878 Second Street, for a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers found a white male suffering from an approximate three-inch laceration to his wrist.

The victim related that he had loaned an acquittance money and had been looking for the person in order to be paid back. Spotting the acquittance, the victim confronted him and was stabbed in the wrist. Based on the information provided, Ofc. Levesque was able to identify a suspect and a warrant for their arrest is being sought from the district court. Due to the warrant not being viewed yet by the court, Castro could not release the suspect’s name.

The injuries to the victim were not life threatening and the male declined medical care from paramedics with the fire department.

Less than an hour prior, another man was reportedly stabbed in the chest over a Facebook drug transaction gone wrong.
