The tipping challenge has hit southern Massachusetts as server is left with huge tip
It was your lucky day if you were a certain server at a Swansea establishment Wednesday evening.
According to a social media post, a server at Harvest Market in Swansea was left with a $2,000 tip on a $12 order. The customer and server has been kept anonymous.
The establishment took to Facebook to share in the act of generosity.
“Shout out to the anonymous customer that left this amazing tip for one of our servers!!! You made her day!
Donnie Whalberg started the year off by tipping an IHOP server $2,020 on a $78.46 bill.
Ernie Boch Jr recently tipped a server $5,000 at a restaurant in Salisbury MA on a $157.56 meal.
