A man was injured Wednesday in a pedestrian crash.
According to Sergeant Joseph Galvao, at 7:00 p.m., Fall River Police patrol units responded to a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle on Brayton Avenue in the area of McDonalds.
Witnesses stated that as traffic began traveling west from the traffic signal, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian who walked out into traffic, according to Galvao.
Witnesses stated that a windshield was cracked and blood could be seen on the vehicle, but those details have not been confirmed by police.
The pedestrian was transported to a Rhode Island hospital.
According to police, the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
