Maintenance Worker – SSTAR
Job Description:
– General knowledge of routine building maintenance; especially skilled at painting will be the main focus of this postions. In addition you could be asked to assist in
– Assist with waste removal and recycling program
– Maintain gardens and grounds
– Under general direction carry out minor building repairs
– Perform Housekeeping duties, if needed.
– Assist other members of the maintenance staff as required
– Snow removal as needed/ able to shovel heavy wet snow
– Carry out painting of the facility as directed
– Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills:
– Ability to participate in physical labor, i.e., heavy lifting, general repair, maintenance, grounds maintenance, shoveling snow, etc.
– Must be able to lift 40 lbs as well as repetitive bending and stooping.
– Ability to safely use both power and hand tools.
– Able to climb ladders.
– Must wear steel toe shoes.
– Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
