Grounds/Laborer – Trinity Management-Newport Heights

Job Summary:

Trinity Management is hiring a Full time grounds/laborer for it’s Newport, RI Apartment Community. Excellent benefits. EOE

Responsibilities and Duties:

– Vacuums hallways.
– Cleans all glass surfaces.
– Cleans entranceways to building(s).
– Sweeps and mop floors of entranceways, laundry rooms, and community rooms.
– Dusts railings, moldings, mailboxes, window ledges, and other needed areas.
– Empties trash.
– Delivers notices/newsletters to apartments.
– Cleans and prepares vacant apartments for move-ins.
– Keeps common areas of buildings free of debris.
– Ensures cleanliness of all common areas including lobbies, laundry rooms, resident storage areas, hallways, stairways, elevators (if applicable), clubhouse (if applicable), rest rooms, offices, etc.
– Maintains cleanliness of management office and public lavatories.
– Reports any maintenance repairs to management office.
– Assists Superintendent or other staff members, as needed.
– Waters plants/grass; weeds and plants flower beds, as necessary.
– Polices outdoor areas; keeps grounds clear of trash and litter.
– Checks for overflowing trash by dumpsters; cleans as required.
– Sweeps walkways; keeps walkways clear of ice and snow.
– Such other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
The candidate should have a high school or higher education. Experience working in Landscaping/snow removal/janitorial preferred.
