Retail Store Management – Ocean State Job Lot

We are currently recruiting for Store Management in the Fall River, MA area!

The Store Management Team is responsible to lead a team of associates in the timely and consistent execution of all Merchandising, Operational, and Human Resource policies and procedures within a designated retail location in accordance with the philosophy and standards of the company. Our management teams are allowed to run their own store with a high degree of ownership. We also offer less planogramming and more entrepreneurial decision- making at Ocean State Job Lot.

• Candidates must have related retail experience and enjoy a fast paced sales environment. (Minimum 2 years experience)
• Understanding of retail merchandising practices, including concepts such as “item driven merchandising”
• Hire, train, supervise, and motivate a team of full-time and part-time associates.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to anticipate, recognize and address issues
• Newly hired managers are expected to complete a structured 4-week training program prior to placement and can expect hands-on exposure to every phase of the business.
• As a stable, profitable company, we’ve built a business with over a 133 stores while building careers at the same time. Our plan is to continue growing our business here in the Northeast.
