The City of Fall River announces free tax preparation services at Fall River Government Center
The City of Fall River has once again announced tax preparation services at Fall River Government Center.
AARP Tax-aide volunteers will prepare taxes in the Atrium of Fall River City Hall from Feb 1, 2022- April 19, 2022, Monday through Friday.
When City Hall is closed for any reason, there will be no tax preparation that day. Taxpayers need to use the Sullivan Street entrance to sign up for and receive this service.
From 8:45 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. each day, taxpayers will be given an appointment to have their return prepared. It may be the same day or another one depending on the number of individuals in line as well as the number of tax preparers that day. Taxpayers must bring all tax documents with them in order or the return to be properly completed. Additionally, they are encouraged to bring the previous two year’s tax returns. Taxpayers will be required to wear a mask while in the building.
