The Board of Directors of St. Anne’s Preservation Society, who maintains and operates the shrine, has voted to reopen the shrine to the public, according to a statement.

The Shrine will open on Sunday June 14, 2020, the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.

For the first few weeks, the shrine will be open limited hours.

The hours will be Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4:00 p.m.

Visitors will be expected to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing while in the church. Votive candles will be available for purchase.

The group is hoping to be able to expand opening hours in the near future.

“We hope as the state and local public health officials gradually move us from phase to phase, we will be able to safely expand our operational hours. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you all soon. God bless!!”

I’m so heartened to read this! My uncle, Father LaChance, will be smiling down on as you pay your visits. I’m in California. Please light a candle for him for me! Thank you!
