Rhode Island State Police investigating highway shooting that left person wounded
A person has been injured after a shooting that reportedly took place on the highway this morning.
The Rhode Island State Police today confirmed that they are investigating a shooting incident that occurred this morning around 2:30 a.m. on the ramp from Thurbers Avenue to Route 95 South.
In the incident, a person was wounded and transported to Rhode Island hospital.
According to a statement by RISP the investigation is open and ongoing and additional details will be provided as they become available.
