Wild weather in Rhode Island and Bristol County Thursday morning led to flooding and fires with more storms expected.

In Fall River, rain poured leaving several streets with major flooding. One vehicle was stuck on Bedford Street, while another on Pleasant Street had to be pushed by several Good Samaritans.

Lightning and thunder could also be heard. One of those strikes caused a fire to a shed in Westport, according to the Westport Fire Department.

Rhode Island also experienced severe storm conditions.

Thunder, lightning, heavy rain, and hail is expected throughout the early afternoon.

There are a lot of hills and aging infrastructure compounded by a years long waterfront project that is in my mind a ridiculous waste of money and resources to seemingly to benefit one building of luxury condominiums.
