Police locate missing Fall River teen
UPDATE: The Fall River Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Raquel Tavares.
The Fall River Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating a missing juvenile female Raquel Tavares age 15.
Raquel left school on Friday January 4, 2019 and never returned home. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink and black jacket. It is believed that she ran from home in order to avoid having to move to Portugal. She may be staying with an unknown Paternal Uncle somewhere in New Bedford. She may have changed clothing. She also has a boyfriend identified as Nelson Soares of Fall River. Raquel is not considered endangered at this time. English is a second Language for Raquel, Portuguese is her primary language.
