The public now has the opportunity to purchase a building that houses one of Fall River’s most popular Portuguese restaurants.
1569/1577 Pleasant Street is on the market. A property which contains Estoril Restaurant.
According to the RE/MAX Vantage Southcoast website updated on Tuesday, the $4,800,000 asking price is a “rare opportunity to own a prominent mixed-use property featuring a well-established restaurant that has become a staple in the local community, along with 10+ residential units situated above. This property offers an exceptional combination of commercial and residential income, providing multiple revenue streams within a single asset. The restaurant benefits from its established reputation, loyal customer base, and strong presence within the town, while the residential units provide consistent rental income and additional upside for an investor.”
For over three decades Estoril has been an elegant, European-style restaurant serving Portuguese cuisine with sophisticated decor meant to feel like “a touch of Portugal.” Meals and sauces were prepared to order, including salads, seafood, and steaks. It has previously been featured on Phantom Gourmet and has been known for its high customer rating.
Google has the restaurant listed as temporarily closed. The restaurants Facebook page has not been updated since a vacation announcement in July. The website appears to be down, and on Sunday, one of Estoril’s founders, Fatima Moniz, commented on social media that she misses the restaurant and its customers, but retirement came before she knew it.
While loyal customers never had the chance to say goodbye, a new owner still has the opportunity to carry on the legacy.
