A Massachusetts woman is looking to get away after hitting big money recently on a lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Karen Andrews has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Money Bags” instant ticket game.
Andrews, who is from Adams, chose to play this game after seeing it advertised on a display monitor in the store. She opted to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans on using some of her winnings to take a vacation.
She purchased her winning ticket at Mobil located at 160 Howland Ave. in Adams. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
