Massachusetts State Police Association: Baker terminates at least 12 Troopers Friday

The Massachusetts State Police Association has issued a statement Friday criticizing a move they say Governor Baker made earlier in the day.

“Governor Baker has proven yet again just how hypocritical he is. As part of a Friday night news dump, he has just terminated at least 12 Troopers due to his vaccine mandate. No appeals. No due process. Just a Governor hell bent on breaking the backs of the State Police who work tirelessly each day to keep the Commonwealth safe.”

“His clear and petty animosity has been on full display for months now. While he closes COVID testing sites, asked that the State House be reopen without a mandate and has generally shown that we are in the endemic phase of COVID-19, he is still insisting on firing at least 12 Troopers from an already short-staffed department. The Troopers deserve better. The Commonwealth deserves better. And, Charlie Baker should be ashamed.”

Late last year dozens of Massachusetts State Troopers were reported to have resigned due to Baker’s vaccine mandate.

The State Police Association of Massachusetts had taken Baker to court over the mandate on multiple occasions, but has been unsuccessful in overturning the mandate.

State employees under Baker’s control that were not in compliance with the mask mandate as of October 17, 2021 have been subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

State Police Association of Massachusetts President, Michael Cherven, has stated previously that he feels “it is unfortunate that the Governor and his team have chosen to mandate one of the most stringent vaccine mandates in the country with no reasonable alternatives.”

Being a public facing agency and with all the scandals the governor did the right thing because if you can’t trust your offices to do the right thing how can you trust them on the job. Nobody’s sure if this is over and we don’t need a variant going through essential workers taking them off the job and exposing vulnerable people.

That and the toughest offices in the state are afraid of a shot that hundreds of millions of people have received with no life-threatening side effects helping protect others who are more vulnerable?

This governor has done the best he can in the situation where nobody knew much at the beginning and good strong leaders like Governor Baker we’re not afraid to do what they thought was right without letting politics lead him. Governor Baker’s been an excellent leader for Massachusetts with his moderate leadership and understanding his moderately liberal majority constituents. Massachusetts has been very lucky to have excellent leadership and that’s why we’re at the top of the charts in so many metrics like income, education and quality of life. I travel a lot with my job and I’ve seen how bad it is in parts of this country. We’re doing really good here!

Here’s the thing though, if they don’t want to take the vaccine they shouldn’t. It doesn’t matter if they’re the “toughest in the state”, it isn’t a matter of being scared, it is a matter of being smart. I don’t believe a word any of these fools In the government say. IF you want to get it then you go ahead, but don’t go saying all this shit about people being scared, because I guarantee you they are not scared. There is a huge difference between fright and smarts. If you wanna believe what you read online and hear from this corrupt government, then you go ahead and be a test rat. But I’ll stay where I am and be fine without it.

Not getting an extremely effective and safe vaccine to help protect others that you come in contact with is being smart? How is that being smart? I’m sure it is a whole bunch of vaccines they required. How does giving up a great career being smart? That sounds like something a Trumpublican would say!

The sad truth about this whole thing is that Massachusetts like most other states accepted huge amounts of money from the Fed. Once you take the money, they control you. Massachusetts gov officials Do Not Have Clean Hands at this point and the public are paying for it literally with our lives. The most sacred choice that you have as a human is what you choose to put into your body; if we don’t have this, we have essentially lost our freedom in the deepest sense. We have come to a very low point in America where we are losing the very rights that are granted to us by our creator. We have been in this position once before and it took a lot of bloodshed to assert and preserve our freedoms. Money and grants should never come before an individual’s rights. These vaccines and their efficacy are questionable at this point as the virus has mutated so much from the original and which is what the vaccines were developed from. I for one am grateful for all of the police, firemen, first responders, doctors and nurses that literally carried us all through those early days of the pandemic that took our elderly and sick prematurely. These same heroes who contracted the virus themselves and faced unknown about the the health implications for them. Well what about natural immunity? Why are we not being told the truth on this? Why isn’t the CDC conducting the studies on this and presenting the data to the American public? This is what we are paying them for. They did one study with data collected from California and New York and the results showed that natural infection provided greater protection from covid then the vaccines; I guess the good news was too much to take. No further data has been released from the other 48 states…..

Despicable of Braker to run rough shod over the Staties with a vaccine mandate thats been proven NOT to work, which is why so many vaccinated people contract Covid.
WORST Governor ever!!! This is the same Governor who deemed registry personnel essential and had them waiting on customers face-to-face before they could get vaccinated. Clueless moron!!

Proven by who idiots? They’ve been proven to be very effective except to ignorant uninformed people.

No vaccine protects 100%, but they keep your ass out of the hospital. I have a friend that lost a 27-year-old son to COVID-19. He was extremely healthy but unvaccinated!

So you think you’re smarter than a scientist or a doctor? You’re not!

The Washington State Patrol did the samething at the end of last year. Governor Jack*** Inslee fired over 67 Troopers, and another 350 Department of Transportation employees for not complying with his Covid vaccination mandate. October 18th, 2021, was their D-day, get vaxed or get Axed!!

It’s just another form of liberal leaders and politicians play God with peoples livelihoods, their families, and ultimately the safety of the citizens.

Anyone who believes there are not injuries caused by this vaxx is sadly misinformed. Heart issues, blot clots, migranes and other neuro disorders are KNOWN and widely reported side effects. It should be a personal choice to take a vaccine since there is ZERO chance of creating herd immunity as it doesn’t even protect you from getting the virus or spreading it. Its just like the flu SHOT and should be treated that way…optional. Mandate only makes sense if there is any chance of eradicating the virus – which there is not with the current vaxxes…hence the boosters every few months.
