Massachusetts man accused of killing police officer charged in the murder of two more men

BOSTON, MA/ROCHESTER, NY – On Tuesday, a grand jury indictment was unsealed charging 21-year-old Kelvin Vickers Jr. of Boston, Deadrick Fulwiley, and Raheim Robinson, with four counts of Murder in the 1st Degree, Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree, twelve counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, and Arson in the 4th Degree.

All three men were indicted on one count of Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree and six counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree in relation to a shooting on July 19. All three were also indicted on four counts of Murder in the 1st Degree, Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree and six counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree for the murders of Richard Collinge, MyJel Rand, and the attempted murder of a third victim on July 20, 2022. They were also charged with Arson in the 4th Degree in relation to an arson later on July 20.

Vickers, who was living in Fall River before going to prison on a 2019 charge, was indicted last month on Aggravated Murder, Murder in the 2nd Degree, Attempted Aggravated Murder, Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree, two counts Assault in the 2nd Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree for the murder of Rochester Police Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz, the attempted murder of Rochester Police Officer Sino Seng, and the assault of a 15-year-old girl which occurred on July 21.

According to Rochester Police, Officers Mazurkiewicz and Seng were attacked in an ambush. Vickers allegedly walked behind the police vehicle and fired 17 times. One bullet also grazed a 15-year-old girl.

Vickers criminal history includes juvenile contacts for Assault and Battery on an Officer at the age of 12, burglary related offenses, strangulation with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, and two separate possession of firearms offenses. As an adult, Vickers has been convicted of possessing an unlicensed firearm.

Vickers was arrested by Fall River Police on gun charges in 2019 and, according to NBC Rochester, had recently been released from prison on those charges.

Deadrick Fulwiley and Kelvin Vickers were arraigned Thursday on the above charges.

Raheim Robinson was apprehended by the Boston Police Department with assistance from the Rochester Police Department and will be arraigned following his extradition to Rochester.

Deadrick Fulwiley is currently being held in Monroe County Jail on weapons charges and Kelvin Vickers is currently being held in Monroe County Jail for the murder of Officer Mazurkiewicz.

    Holy crap 1st degree this ,second degree that 4th degree again,this piece of crap deserves a firing squad ,how in the hell does he get released pending an indictment thats the problem with serving justice innocent till proven guilty really explain that to the officers family that got fired at 17 times,lets shoot him 17 X f××king loserjuvenile record and yet released into society what you think was gonna happen,you cant reintegrate scum like this only a tragedy waiting to happen like it did, death row is my answer and make it last years so he can live with the devil inside bim screw him and his family make them suffer 15 year kid innocently shot cmon people whats wrong with today’s justice system,so many good people losing there lives over sh×t bags like this the sytem has failed again
