General Manager/Front Desk – Dockside Inn (Oak Bluffs)

“Why go to work in the real world this summer when you can be on Martha’s Vineyard?”

Front desk general manager position for both the Dockside Inn and the Oak Bluffs Land and Wharf Tour company. They will share duties with both companies and will be paid between $900-$1100 for a 40 hour commitment per week. Applicants DO NOT need prior experience in the hotel or hospitality field to apply.

The job comes with a subsidized 1 bedroom apartment for $900/Mo with all furnishing, cable, internet and laundry service. It has a full kitchen, private bath and living room dining area. The apartment is located at the Dockside Inn which is less than 100 yards from the nearest beach.

The Job commitment is from April 15-November 1.

Duties include running the daily operations of a boutique hotel and all required duties as well as our sister tour company. This Job is perfect for a recent graduate to get their feet wet in the hospitality business.

Job Description:
Will be responsible for setting and preparing for appointments to expedite customer’s service experience; greet customers in a friendly and timely manner; determine the vehicle needs based on customer information, vehicle walk-around and technician’s multi-point inspection.

Requirements:
• Must produce repair orders for customers with transparency including the time and cost of the repair. Communicate with the technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of work and follow up with customers on the status of the vehicle. Will be required to have Ford product knowledge to effectively assist customers with service maintenance and warranty information.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be alert to sales opportunities by taking the time to ask customers questions and provide information about their vehicle. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for assessing the safety requirements before starting any repair.
• Repairs, replacement, and installation for mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, as well as building mechanical repairs and maintenance.

General Laborer – Raw Seafoods, Inc (Fall River)

We are a growing family-owned company, looking for hard-working individuals to join our team. The work is fast paced, physical and requires attention to the security and quality of the job done. Attendance and reliability are extremely important.

There are a variety of duties, depending on the department in which the employee is placed. We have space in multiple departments and on 1st and 2nd shifts.

Job Duties:
• Ensure that orders are accurate.
• Grading Scallops.
• Operate scale.
• Stack boxes and vats.
• Lift boxes and move needed product.
• Operate handling equipment, following safety requirements.
• Ensure warehouse and production goals are met.
• Maintain a high level of health and safety requirements.
• Ensure warehouse and production goals are met.

• Shrink wraps products to pallets.
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary.
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.

Order Picker Skills and qualifications:
• Previous experience preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a cold/wet area.

Benefits:

Full-Time

Millstone Medical Outsourcing is looking for an energetic individual to join its Operations Team. Millstone is a fast-growing, fast-paced medical service provider for the top Orthopedic companies in the industry. Millstone’s business focus is sterile and non-sterile packaging of medical devices. Millstone also engages in other activities, such as mechanical inspection and assembly, which are designed to meet the outsourcing requirements of medical device manufacturers seeking to reduce costs while maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy and timeliness. We are FDA and ISO registered and employ a detailed internal quality system to ensure ISO compliance.

Working collaboratively within the Operations team, the Clean Room Packager will be responsible for labeling, packaging and inspecting customer products per the customer’s and Millstone’s specific requirements. The Clean Room Packager also performs other duties as requested or required across all areas of the Company.
