It is scientifically impossible to overdose on marijuana

I don’t know where you get your information, but we can OVERDOSE on anything…even water. Too much of any one thing can cause overdose. I’m not saying death, but overdose.

THIS IS AN OLD ARTIVLE WITH OLD KNOWLEDGE. IT IS LITERALLY NOT POSSIBLE TO OVERDOSE ON MARIJUANA. WAKE UP.MARIJUANA IS SAFER FOR THE BODY THAN CIGARETTES AND DEFINATELY SAFER THAN ALCOHOL. ITS NOT CONSIDER A GATEWAY DRUG IN ANY TRUE STUDIES. I FEEL THAT YOUNGER TEENS SHOULD NOT USE ANY FORM OF DRUGS ACCEPT THEIR NECESSARY MEDS LIKE ADHD MEDS, ETC..

You can overdose on marijuana like many other things. Overdose does not mean death.

This is misinformation and you should be ashamed for making such an ignorant and blatantly false article.

At present it is estimated that marijuana’s LD-50 is around 1:20,000 or 1:40,000. In layman terms this means that in order to induce death a marijuana smoker would have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times as much marijuana as is contained in one marijuana cigarette. NIDA-supplied marijuana cigarettes weigh approximately .9 grams. A smoker would theoretically have to consume nearly 1,500 pounds of marijuana within about fifteen minutes to induce a lethal response.

You may want to read up on what an overdose is. An overdose is generally not fatal. It is also what responders on the scene called it and how it was called in to dispatch

Technically, it can be considered an overdose but considering most people don’t use that term unless it’s fatal, it’s misleading…

“After the victim was released from medical, he then proceeded to raid the cupboards and refrigerator, completely emptying the contents of both. He’s currently asleep and not expected to wake any time soon.”

All I know is, the other day I was definitely under dosed. I’ve tried to overdose on marijuana before and let me just tell you it’s next to impossible to do.

I ate a pie made for my sick mother in law to make sure it was ok for consumption. after about 15 minutes my heart starting pumping faster and faster to the point I felt like I would die. I ran to the bathroom and forced it out my system , and felt better emediatly.

My question to this, would be, who made the brownies, and let’s see the weed you used, a sample of it, so you can see the the level in it..by the way how old was the od victim.

Isn’t it possible that the pot was tampered with? Fentanyl is everywhere!

That would be the only logical assumption. Fentanyl sucks. It’s making it tough for people with real pain issues and chronic severe pain because people are unknowingly overdosing on fentanyl(opoid), placing ALL legit opoids into the pile of the opoid crisis bull crap. When they’re given correctly for chronic pain it can be life changing. Allowing many chronically I’ll pain sufferers to have a decent life and be able to do every day skills on their own or at least with less help allowing more independence.
Anyone who puts fentanyl or pcp into weed is just a drug dealer getting people hooked on “theirweed” when it’s laced. SHAMEFUL! My sister almost died from a pcp laced joint. It was awful.

Two points. 1. We release what police tell us when we ask. If police stated there was another substance, we would have said so and 2. People continue to associate overdoses with death. People often overdose on substances and don’t die.

Long story short, the kid did drugs and didnt die. So, you’re telling me that a doofy teen at Durfee was dumb enough to eat a weed brownie on campus, in effect becoming a *high* school student.

    The audacity!

A lot of kids become high on marijuana but seldom overdose.
