A local pizza spot that has been an institution for several decades will sadly soon be no more.

According to a recent social media post, by the end of this week, Everybody’s Pizza on County Road in East Freetown will cease operations.

“We would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and patronage over the last 48 years. It has been an honor to serve you and be a part of this wonderful community.”

“Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to close our business. This was not an easy decision, but after careful consideration, we feel it is the best course of action for us at this time. Our last day will be Friday April 7.
We want to thank you for your loyalty and support over the years. It has been a pleasure serving you. We will cherish the memories and the relationships we have built with all of you. We hope that you will continue to support small businesses in your community and that our paths may cross again in the future.”

“Thank you again for your business and support. We wish you all the best in the future.”

While Everybody’s is a pizza spot, it wasn’t just pies like their chicken pizza that brought people through their doors. Some say they had the best salads and fish and chips around.

An exact reason as to why Everybody’s is closing was not given.
