Lizzie Borden lovers looking for a morning pick me up have been visiting Miss Lizzie’s coffee on Second Street in Fall River. Recently, one of its customers is a member of rock royalty.

According to the coffee shop, Simon Gallup, world famous bassist of the English band, The Cure, spent a wonderful time at Miss Lizzie’s Coffee recently with his family and Miss Lizzie’s Olivia Pereira.

The shop stated that Pereira and her brother are friends of Gallup.

The Cure have been entertaining fans since the 70s and are often regarded as one of the most significant alternative bands of the 80s. The grammy nominated group is known for hits like “Just Like Heaven”, “Friday I’m in Love”, “Boys Don’t Cry”, and “Pictures of You”.

In addition to Gallup’s visit, Miss Lizzie’s recently had a Lizzie Borden mural created by William Silvia.

Also recently, neighbor, and the owner of the Lizzie Borden House, renewed his court fight to try and stop the coffee shop from doing business.
