Fall River, Somerset Police combine to arrest 22-year-old man accused of series of motor vehicle break-ins

A local man is facing multiple charges after a rash of car break-ins.

According to Fall River Police Lieutenant Matthew Mendes, on Friday, Sergeant Adam Talbot of the Major Crimes Division identified a series of motor vehicle break-ins in the Narragansett Street area.

During his investigation, he identified 22-year-olld Kaden Stromans as a suspect in the incidents.  Stromans was subsequently taken into custody on Monday by the Somerset Police Department. 

He was charged with the following offenses:

Four counts of Larceny Under $1200.

Five counts of Breaking and Entering into a Vehicle (Nighttime) for a Felony.

One count of Breaking and Entering into a Vehicle (Daytime) for a Felony.

Three counts of Attempted Breaking and Entering into a Vehicle (Nighttime) for a Felony.

Court records show at Tuesday’s arraignment that Stromans pled not guilty and was released on personal recognizance with special conditions imposed including an evaluation for mental health or substance abuse.

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for October 6th.
