Fall River Police Department makes arrest in multiple business break-ins
Members of the Fall River Police Department have made an arrest concerning several city break-ins.
According to Fall River Police, on Wednesday, 43-year-old Luis Carlos Almeida Jr., was arrested by members of the Major Crimes Division in connection with multiple business breaks which occurred over the past few days.
Almeida is charged with four counts of breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony, four counts of larceny from a building, two counts of larceny over $1200, attempted breaking and entering into a depository, and attempt to commit a crime.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, the businesses that were victims are Blount Seafood, Party Dress Express, and XO Felicia.
