Fall River Police Department announces retirement of two with decades of service to community

The Fall River Police Department has announced the retirement of two long time members.

Deputy Chief Charles Cullen began his career with the Department on December 30, 1979. He served as Deputy Chief of Administration since February 27, 2011. He also served as Interim Chief for a brief period of time in 2020.

Detective David Lafleur began his career with the Department on October 31, 1988. He has been assigned to the Major Crimes Division, Special Investigations Unit since April of 2020.

Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira stated that the department wishes both men health and prosperity in their retirement.
