Fall River Police have arrested a man after he reportedly reappeared with a loaded gun in his pants.

According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, on Thursday at approximately 9:00 a.m. Officers Mitchell Walsh and Jonathan Souza responded to the 600 block of Second Street in response to reports of a male causing a disturbance.

Upon arrival, they encountered 21-year-old Mustafa Kasin of Grafton, MA who indicated that his cellular telephone had been taken by a female acquaintance of his. Officers were able to locate his cellular telephone with the assistance of the female.

While Officers were investigating the location of the cellular device, Kasin disappeared for a brief period before reappearing. Upon doing so, Officers observed that Kasin’s pockets now appeared to be full, he had his hands in his pockets, and his demeanor had shifted. Officers ordered him to remove his hands from his pockets, which he refused to do. Fearing that Kasin may be in possession of a weapon they removed his hands from his pockets and conducted a pat frisk for weapons. At this time Officer Souza discovered that Kasin had hidden a firearm in his right thigh area. The firearm, a loaded 9mm Polymer 80 lower with Glock upper was removed from Kasin’s possession without incident.

Mustafa Kasin was placed under arrest and charged with carrying a loaded firearm in public without an LTC, possession of a large capacity firearm, and possession of ammunition without an FID Card.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the status of the pistol.

Sure that’s why he is running around with a gun, stop making excuses for criminal behavior, he could have taken someone life.

How could this young Hood Rat be in possession of a loaded Glock handgun when he was not properly licensed? Massachusetts has very, very strict firearms licensing laws, including very strict background checks and a training class … yet every drug addict, drug dealing, criminal hood rat from Key West to Caribou, Maine seems to somehow be in possession of a semi-automatic high caliber handgun. How can this happen?
We have layers of ‘common sense’ gun laws and Creepy Congressman Jake Auchincloss promises to pass even more ‘common-sense’ gun laws. Somehow the hood rats keep obtaining guns in spite of all the common sense gun laws. Oh well … just shut up, pay your taxes, and wait for the local police chief to decide if you are entitled to the Second Amendment
