Fall River Police have arrested two men after a shooting Saturday evening in the south end of the city.

According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, on Saturday shortly after 10 p.m., the Fall River Police Department responded to the area of Tuttle Street and Dwelly Street in response to a report of shots fired.

Once on scene, officers located evidence of a shooting in the area. Upon doing so, they immediately secured the area to preserve evidence, while awaiting the Crime Scene Unit.

Primary Officer, Edgardo Llanos learned that two men had chased a female on Tuttle Street. During the foot chase, the female was fired upon by the men. She was not injured in the incident.

As officers waited for the Crime Scene Unit to arrive, a man fitting the description of one of the men who chased the female returned to the area in search of an item. He was detained and later placed under arrest by officers on scene. The second male suspect would also be located and taken into police custody a short distance from where the shooting occurred.

31-year-old Jermole Auguste, of Mattapan and 32-year-old Christopher Good, of Dorchester were taken into police custody without incident in connection with the shooting.

Detectives assigned to the Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the incident.

Why are these two violent thugs hanging around in Fall River? Can’t be for the “pot” holes and the litter. Must be the high grade Crack and heroin! Just kidding it’s obviously the Market Rate apartments.

What’s the big deal, I go to Boston to chase women all the time. I play chase, tag, hide and seek. Psshh… I’m not impressed

You have the former mayor Lambert to thank for opening the flood gates to housing and making it the drug and crime city that it is. As you can see, the bad dudes have friends and/or relatives that live here and come down to
visit doing what they do best – shooting, drugging, robbing etc…..

Ed Lambert and the police chief at the time denied any gang activity in the city, despite Larry’s Bar and a ton of other incidents.

Instead of focusing on rising gang violence, the influx of gangs/drugs into the city, and being awarded the honor of having the first underperforming school in the state the focus went to fighting LNG. Whatever one’s feelings are on LNG it was nothing more than a distraction from the real problems the city was facing.

By opening up the floodgates to everyone everywhere we saw a giant shift in demographics just as the largest employers were closing up shop or moving south.

The Lambert Administration and the leadership of the FRPD are directly to blame for the influx of drugs and crime into the city.

This continued under Flanagan, Sutter, Correia, and Coogan with no end in sight.

Problems that could have been solved years ago have been allowed to grow and now we’re dealing with the aftermath.

Mayor Coogan is busy scheduling the next “Mentally Unstable Men Dressed as Women Seeking Sexual Titillation from 5 years olds” Show at the Fall River PUBLIC Library … to be concerned about a couple of parolee drug dealing Pimps from Boston beating and shooting a woman on South Main Street.

Also, for your information Mayor Coogan is against Nazis… he also is against drowning puppies and kittens. Mayor Coogan shows what real leadership looks like.
